Coach Anthony Engelman started coaching football when he was 16 years old and was named the offensive assistant coach for the seventh and eighth grade Limestone Lightning Youth Football League. Over the next few years, his coaching responsibilities and passion for the game only grew. In 2016, his youth league staff decided to turnaround a program in Herscher, IL, Coach Engelman's hometown. And turnaround they did, going undefeated and winning the league championship.
Coach Engelman is currently a junior at Illinois State University, majoring in Elementary Education. He couldn't be more excited to begin his high school coaching career at Olympia High School. Growing up in a small town, and a graduate of Herscher High School, Olympia feels like home.
